24 Oct 2022  -  28 Oct 2022

Bringing the world’s industry Giants to South Africa

The automotive industry’s premium networking and thought leadership conference will be at the South African Auto Week in October 2022, as part of the country’s Transport Month activities. For the first time in the history of the industry in Africa, naamsa | the Automotive Business Council will be bringing the world’s industry giants to South Africa for futuristic and ground-breaking discussions and potential business opportunities. We will host the International Organisation of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers [OICA] General Assembly and its Council meeting in Johannesburg during SA Auto Week.

The event will have several activities including inventive 3-day Auto Thought-Leadership Indaba that will focus on key topical industry themes important for the industry and for the African continent alike.
The conference will be themed: REIMAGINING THE FUTURE TOGETHER | “The Rise of the African Auto Industry: investing in new energy vehicles, infrastructure, and people”.

Supported by innovative virtual platforms, the SA Auto Week will physically bring together industry thought leader from local, regional, continental and global business and government institutions, to consolidate efforts that will compellingly drive the transition to new energy vehicles and smarter technologies.

The hybrid conference will bring to life global policy discussions and help share and influence future mobility solutions not only for South Africa, but for other markets around the world. Highly effective networking and interaction opportunities will be activated during this event to ensure that the most relevant stakeholders connect with each other and that the decisions that would meaningfully transform the industry are discussed, considered and implemented.

The Kyalami International Convention Centre is conveniently situated in the business heart of Gauteng between Pretoria and Johannesburg and promises to add a unique and aspiring experience to the SA Auto Week.
