Join Ladles of Love this Mandela Day at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit for a day of purpose-driven volunteering aimed at combating child food poverty in South Africa. On Friday, 18 July 2025, be part of a nationwide initiative that transforms compassion into action, making a tangible difference in the lives of children in need.

This year marks the seventh annual Mandela Day campaign by Ladles of Love, under the theme "Make Every Day a Mandela Day and Feed the Future." The event invites individuals, schools, and companies to participate in two-hour volunteer sessions at designated Activation Station Zones. Here, volunteers will engage in activities such as making, creating, crafting, or growing items that support early childhood development and provide nourishment to young children.

The Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, alongside DHL Stadium in Cape Town, serves as one of the flagship venues for this campaign. These iconic locations have partnered with Ladles of Love to host over 10,000 volunteers, showcasing a collective commitment to social impact and community upliftment.

Participation is straightforward: select your preferred venue, choose a time slot--options include 9am--11am, 11am--1pm, 1pm--3pm, or 3pm--5pm and pick an Activation Zone: MAKE, CREATE, CRAFT, or GROW. Tickets are priced at R250 per person, a donation that will sponsor two healthy meals a day for a child for an entire month.

For larger groups or corporate teams of 20 or more, block bookings are available to facilitate team-building activities within the Activation Zones. To arrange group bookings, please contact tickets@ladlesoflove.org.za.
